Pathmate isn't a startup pitch. It's a problem I lived for years — being surrounded by people who wanted different things, while quietly working on something nobody around me really understood.

Most platforms try to fix this with networking, mentors, or AI companions. None of those are what people actually need when they're in the messy middle of figuring something out. What helps is one real person, working through something similar, willing to think out loud with you every week.

So I'm building it. Slowly. Honestly. Matching every pair myself in the early days, learning what makes a thinking partnership click, and shaping the product around what real people tell me actually helps.
